OpenGL 3D View

Exhibit your contoured surface in a fully rotatable 3D view!

With your color-filled contour or color cell map showing, click the OpenGL view toolbar button or the View | OpenGL View.

Your contour surface now shows up in a seperate window as a 3D surface.

Click the left mouse button at the left, right, top or bottom margins of window and, without releasing the mouse, rotate the surface by moving it up/down or left/right.

Click the left mouse button on the 3D object, and, without releasing the mouse, move the object around the viewing area.

Double-click the window or choose the Image | Format command to open up the OpenGL dialogue box. From here, you can modify different aspect of the 3D view, such as adjust the lighting, digital ticks, scale, and perspective properties .

To automatically rotate the surface, double-click the appropriate axis on the OpenGL tree and then double-click the Rotatings tree item. To quit rotation, double-click the Rotatings tree item once more.

The Image | Full window command displays a surface without a title and a scale.

The Image | Full screen command rotates a surface in the hardware accelerator mode, if drives allows it. Press the Esc key to stop it.
