CREATING A CONTOUR
MAP
1. To Load a Data Set:

1.1 Check Wells to display in Table View,
then Choose the "Contour" Option from the dropdown
menu in the Table View in Drillinginfo.

Then select the Value you want to contour (column #2)
and the Label for the point (column #3).
|

Lastly, choose OPEN in the Dialogue Box
|
 |
OR you can load your own data into DISurf from
your computer from either Excel, CSV or the other files
types shown below. Just insure that the four necessary
elements are located in columnar form in columns 1, 2,
3, and 4.

| 1.2 Choose the File | Open
command to load: |

| |
- scattered XYZ points;
- GPS NMEA files;
- ASCII USGS Digital Elevation Model
files (.dem extension);
- Surfer 6 and Surfer 7 files (.grd extension);
- BMP, JPG, PNG, GIF images;
- DISurf documents (.3df extension). |

Then, go to the EDIT menu on the
toolbar and select FORMAT SCATTERED DATA... |

Then Select which rows are X, Y, Data and Legend.
IMPORTANT NOTE... MAKE SURE YOU SET IT BACK TO 1-2-3-4 WHEN
FINISHED SO DISURF CAN INITIALIZE PROPERLY WHEN WORKING WITH
THE DRILLINGINFO WEB APPLICATION. |
