Cutting Cross Sections Across Contour Maps

You can automatically cut a cross-section across your contour map using DISurf.
  1. From any Contour, Color Fill Contour, or Color Cell Map, select the Draw/Cancel Line Tool on the toolbar (arrow and red line).
  2. Move cursor over the map. An Add Vertex diologue box appears. Left click mouse to define each point. Right click mouse to remove point. When finished, click the close button on the Add Vertex dialogue box. Select the Slice Tool on the toolbar (yellow x-section).
  3. To change the line thickness, color, or fill color , double click the Slice label under the Drawings heading in the Map Tree.
